태극기 압승, 촛불 패퇴: 오늘 어마어마한 일이 일어났다!

 오늘 세종로, 청계천, 종로를 꽉 메운 태극기 시민들은 역사상 최대 규모의 운집에 새삼 놀라고 환호하고 고무되었다. 촛불시위대와 勢 대결을 할 것으로 예견되었으나 촛불은 허무하게 무너졌다. 규모 면에서, 열기 면에서 게임이 되지 않았다. 태극기 집회 참석자들은 밝은 세상에서 5~7시간 동안 서서 외치고 행진하고 울고 웃었지만 촛불은 어둠의 세상에서 앉아서 웅성웅성하다가 곧 헤어졌다. 오후 늦게부터 내린 비도 촛불 편이 아니었다. 

  오늘도 가장 거센 비판의 대상이 된 것은 반역국회, 쓰레기 언론, 정치검찰, 귀족노조였다. 한국 사회의 4대 특권층을 응징하여 공정한 나라를 만들어야겠다는 결의가 삼일절의 새로운 시대정신으로 부각된 날이었다. 이 4대세력이 거짓, 협박, 월권, 사기적 수법으로 국민이 뽑아 민주적 정당성이 있는 대통령을 몰아내려고 작당한 것은 대역죄이고 내란, 國憲문란이다.
  

자발적 참여가 조직 동원을 이긴 날! 선동언론, 정치검찰, 반역적 국회, 귀족노조는 대한민국 국민들을 국민으로 대우하지 않고 노예나 백성으로 취급하여 함부로 잡아넣고 짓이기고 군림하려 한다. 오늘은 이들 특권층으로부터 탄압을 받고 있는 국민들이 진정으로 해방되는 날을 만들어야겠다는 다짐을 한 날이기도 하였다. (발췌)

나심 탈레브는 아랍의 이슬람 근본주의(살라피즘, Salafism)는 종교가 아니라 전체주의적 정치조직이라고 말한 바 있다. 따라서 이슬람 근본주의는 민주사회에서 수용될 수 없는 이념이라는 말이다.

 

지금 한국의 종북좌파들의 정당, 조직 등은 모두 살라피즘과 유사한 전체주의적 조직이다. 따라서 자유민주주의 국가에서는 절대 허용되어서는 안 된다. 그들은 자유와 인권(좌파들의 인권이 아닌, 생명과 자유와 사유재산의 3가지 천부권리), 시장경제를 부정하는 김일성의 추종자들이다. 그런데 이게 엉터리 민주화 바람을 타고 살라피즘보다 과격한 종북좌파들의 조직이 한국 사회에 만연하고 있다.

 

이번 문명고 사태를 보더라도, 국사 국정 교과서 채택을 온갖 행패를 부리며 방해하고 있고 그 배후에는 전교조가 있다. 지금 한국은 적화 일보 직전까지 왔다. 여기에서 더 나아가면 그때는 다시 돌아올 수 없는 강을 건너는 것이다.

민주주의 국가이기 때문에 (종북)좌파를 허용해야 한다는 말은, 민주주의이기 때문에 도둑과 강도들을 허용해야 한다는 말과 똑같다.

If Western liberals find it hard to see Salafism for what it is, if they’re woefully lacking in moral clarity, it’s because they’re committed to tolerance and religious freedom, and Salafism is defined as a religion. This is, Taleb maintains, a grave error—because Salafism isn’t really a religion; it makes far more sense to think about it as “an intolerant political system, which promotes (or allows) violence and refuses the institutions of the West—those that allow them to operate. Unlike Shiite Islam and Ottoman Sunnis, Salafis refuse to accept the very notion of minorities: infidels pollute their landscape.” We need to stop thinking about Salafism as a religious movement and start thinking about it as “a political movement, similar to Nazism, with their dress code an expression of such beliefs.” Taleb goes on to suggest that Western liberals might be far more open to the idea of, say, banning burkinis, if they saw it as analogous to banning swastikas: “these people you are defending . . . will deprive you of all the rights you are giving them should they ever ascend to power.” Indeed, if they had their way, your wife would be in a burkini! Salafists are, then, inherently problematic, for the same reason that political parties that promise to abolish elections if they’re ever elected are inherently problematic.

No matter where you go in life, someone will be there to offend you. Maybe it’s a joke you overheard on vacation, a spat at the office, or a difference of opinion with someone in line at the grocery store. Inevitably, someone will offend you and your values. If you cannot handle that without losing control of your emotions and reverting back to your “safe space” away from the harmful words of others, then you’re best to just stay put at home. Remember, though: if people in the outside world scare you, people on the internet will downright terrify you. It’s probably best to just accept these harsh realities of life and go out into the world prepared to confront them wherever they may be waiting.

How do we minimize the role of the State? To bring about radical and permanent change in any society, our primary focus must be on the conversion of minds through education. This is a task to which Rothbard has dedicated his life. That's why he was such a willing participant on so many occasions in the educational functions I held for interns, staffers, and Members of Congress. After speaking at a seminar I held, he expressed delight at the large turn-out, saying it "shows the extent to which our ideas have permeated politics and public opinion, far more than I had hoped or believed."

 

 

But because Rothbard sees education as the primary vehicle for change, that does not mean, of course, that he is opposed to getting directly involved in political action towards a libertarian society. As he had said, "since the State will not gracefully convert itself out of power, other means than education, means of pressure, will have to be used." (발췌)
